Gerald - Sarah Carden of the Cardens of Templemore, Co Tipperary, married
John Terry of Cork about 1700 and their son Carden Terry became a famous
silversmith. A descendant called Terry in Australia continues the activity
today and is one of the best known silversmiths there. Just possibly a
Google search for "Carden Terry" or Terry+silversmith might throw up
something of interest to you.
