The only place to look this up, if they had it - but they
don't - is at an LDS, Family History Centre. The LDS has a
gap in the full birth record films from June, 1881 to Dec
1899.
Volume 5 covers Limerick, West-Cork and Kerry, whereas Co.
Tipperary is covered by volumes 3 and 4.

see how long it would take to get a photocopy of an 1882
birth certificate for a Timothy Doherty, and was told it
may take 5-6 weeks.

I am wondering if any one out there can do a look up for me
to confirm whether he is connected to me. I believe Timothy
is from Tipperary, but cannot locate his birthplace. The
information on the certificate may confirm or rule out
family connections and break down some brickwalls.
