"How old are you, Pat" said a Clerk of Indictment to a Hibernian Convict at
a late Assizes in ireland.?
"Faith, Sir, I believe I'm pretty well as owld as ever I'll be, said Pat-and
in good truth he was, as he was hanged on the Monday following.

(Came across this in a book and thought it was funny. Mary.
Not funny for Pat though.)
