Andrew Barcley and Jane Weir had a daughter Jane born 1876 in Scotland, she was
my grand mother. Some time later they moved to Bangor Ireland where grand mother
married Willliam McFalls. They moved to Scotland where my mother was born then
back to Bangor for some years before coming to Canadia.
My mother went to Bangor for a vist about 1955, and when she returned she
mentioned that there was also relatives from Austraslia visiting there, but I
could not say if there name was Barcley.
It is almost certain that there is a conection for our Bercleys but it may
be had to prove as there seems to be about two generations short, and
researching in Ireland is difficult. Also there is a slight differance in
spelling but this is commoan. Barcley Barclay Berkeley, they are the same
family.
