Hi Joan,

I think the Belmores were land owners , possibly in Fallaghearn, where my
McCANNs are from. I found listings of Belmore papers on the PRONI site. I
am trying to get more info about them. IF these papers are similar to
Verner's, they will yield a lot of info about the tenant farmers.

What are the "OS Memoirs of 1834?"

And who is the historian of Pomeroy?

I am getiing excited about your trip ...and what you may find.

All the best,
Lin
