Subject: James Gill of Camden Lodge, Crosshaven, Cork, Ireland

I am looking for a James Gill, born 20th May year unknown possibly
mid 1860's,
married to Ellen Smith who was born 19th Feb, year
unknown and died about 1917/18.
Lived at Camden Lodge, Crosshaven, Cork, Ireland.
Had a grocery, confectionery and biscuit bakery at 18
Prince's St Cork when he retired.
His father was Dr Seth Gill born 5th Dec, 1821, married 15th May, 1846 to Sarah Mason.
Sarah Mason was daughter of Richard Mason & Sarah Cooper, who were married 1809.
Other daughters were Ann, Phoebe & Jane.
Richard Mason's father was John Mason of Hackethorpe in the county of
Derby, a farmer,
married to Marion Drake who in 1758, the year she was married, joined the Soc. of Friends and changed her name to
Mary.
Marion Drake was the daughter of Robert Drake, brother of Sir Francis Drake.

Can you fill in any dates, other kin, any info on Camden Lodge, URL's for maps
of Crosshaven, Cork, or Hackethorpe, County of Derby, or business
location.
