Hi:
I am a decentant of the Coppinger's of Cork Co. through my G-G Grandmother
Sarah "Sallie" Coppinger b. 1820 Grundy Co. TN. Her ancestry traces back to
Stephen Coppinger b. abt 1540 Ireland. Higgins Coppinger, Sr. b. 1738
Ballyvolane Castle, Cork Co., Ireland and died 4 Jan 1832 Washington Co., TN.
is probably the Coppinger that first came to the USA.

I was wondering if anyone had any information on this family and if the
Ballyvolane (or Ballyvalane)Castle is still standing or converted into an Inn
or Hotel?
