Hi everyone,
I am new to this list and am looking for John Fitzgibbon of Cork, who
was a schoolmaster in the 1850"s. Apparently, he ran his own small RC
school in Cork. His wife was Catherine, last name unknown. They had at
least one son, Patrick, who was born 1815,married abt 1835 in Passage
West to Frances Newman. They had sson John who died in Passage as an
infant, then had Ellen 1837, John 1839, Mary 1840 and Catherine Mary
1841. They emigrated to Australia on ship called "Caroline" arriving
Brisbane 17 Nov 1853.
Will appreciate any possible help on them at all, and willing to do
reciprocal research.
regards,
Yvonne
