I'm up. A couple of days ago, I asked for any help on the McELROY name.
Several of you sent me the above URL. I was doing a jig all day. I had
found more information on the McElroy's that I thought I ever would. An
e-mail address also was listed..wrote to the individual.

Today, I'm down. Tim wrote me back...same names, same county, one county
removed from Cork (so the family oral history could have been wrong!) very
"close" dates...but know what? No cigar! It wasn't my McELROY afterall.

But I just wanted to say THANKS to all of you who gave me a path to
check...Maybe tomorrow the McElroy's will show their roots!
