Looking for ancestors and descendants of following SULLIVAN and CUMMINGS
families, hopefully my great great grandparents;

This information was developed by Steve Kings in Wales for me from the 1861
Census for Monmouthshire in the parish of Bedwelty and the hamlet of Manmoel;

Jeremia Sullivan 18, labourer, place of birth, Ireland
Patrick Sullivan 17, labourer, place of birth, Ireland
John Sullivan, 14, labourer, place of birth, Ireland
Mary Ann Sullivan, 10, scholar, place of birth, Ireland
The address was given as Number 4, Row 48, Manmoel, Sirhowy, Bedwelty,
Monmouthshire, Manmoel which is less than 10 miles from Rhymney Wales where my
Patrick Sullivan met and married my great grandmother Ellen Cummins.

The Cummins family was living at 13, Furnace Row, Rhymney

My SULLIVAN/CUMMINGS line immigrated to the US and settled in Pennsylvania in
the Old Forge, Minooka, Taylor, Archbald areas surrounding Scranton, PA.

Looking for any and all information about the SULLIVAN/CUMMINGS families

While I have the younger Patrick Sullivan my great grandfather in PA. I have
not been able to identify his parents or siblings. Maybe they stayed in Wales
or ??? Any suggestions.

It was rumored that the SULLIVAN family and the SHEA family were acquainted
before they came to the US. John Shea was sponsor for Patrick Sullivan when
Patrick was naturalized. The Shea were rumored to have originated in County
Cork, so maybe the SULLIVAN family was from County Cork also.
