Hello all,
Is anyone researching the Shannon family (from County Cork) who sailed on
the ship COLUMBUS which arrived at N.Y. on 21 Nov 1849 from Liverpool?
John, 36, Peggy, 34, Patrick-age12, Peter-age 8- Bridget,age -11,
Mary, age 9,
John age 4
and Julie age 12?
I am descended from Peter Shannon ,who ,by 1861 was in Ohio and was married
to
Mary--- last name unknown.
By 1865, the Peter Shannon family was in St. Louis Mo. where they lived out
their years.
Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
