starred Liam Neesen. The picture was toned down from the book on which it
was supposed to be based. The book "The man who made Ireland. The life and

Good reading!
I think Liam Neesen did as good job as could be done with the script. The
movie however left out some major points and played down the actual events
that would have reflected badly on England and de Valera. I believe there was
British opposition to the film being made at all.
