Subject: Ireland Comes to Washington, DC

Hi, Everyone,
Here are two events that Irish ROOTERS might find interesting.
1. The Book of Kells will be on display during May and June at the Library
of Congress in the Jefferson Building at 101 Independence Ave, SE. Take
the Metro to the Capitol South station, and walk about 2 blocks north.
Hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. For more info check lcweb.loc.gov.
As of today the April calendar is still on the site.
2. The "Jeanie Johnston" is scheduled to be at the port of Alexandria, VA,
from June 7th - June 11th. Again, check the web site for verification at
www.jeaniejohnston.com. As of today no US dates are listed.
