Quite right - listen to your heart as well as others then read, search
out as many primary records as you can, and then make up your mind
remembering that your conclusions may not be the same as everyone else,
and of course one shouldn't judge the past by the standards of today's
world. But keep the passion - it makes life - and history - interesting.

By the way my gut instinct (heart), too, has many times lead me to the
right family when all then available information would point elsewhere.
:-)

My point in my recent message was that we have heard many sides of the
same topic and I believe that the continual dominance of repeated
arguments is to the detriment of the List. The subject should close and
allow other topics to be discussed.
