My great-grandfather, Peter LYONS, was born around 1847 in County Cork, Ireland. He and his wife, Ellen CHRISTIE,
emigrated to the USA in 1863-1865. They had 3 sons, Thomas, John and Peter who were all born in Jersey City, NJ
Peter received his citizenship in Jersey City, NJ in 1868.
I have been unable to locate this family in Ireland, nor have I been able to ascertain what ship they came over on or if they had any relatives in the USA (although a Charles LYONS signed Peter's Citizenship papers). Any information would be greatly appreciated.
