Good Morning,
I am hoping for any information or leads on my husbands 3xggrandfather. I have no idea how to go about finding him or his family. I have checked the IGI without success. His name was Daniel LEHANE, he was born at Newmarket, County Cork abt 1828. He came to Australia 12 Nov. 1862 ahead of his wife and children, his brother Jeremiah was already a resident of Aus at the time. Daniel was a farmer and a Roman Catholic. Daniel's wife Ellen arrived 25 Jan.1865 and she was born abt 1829 her parents were Catherine and Owen ? Their children all born County Cork were:
William 1846
Kate 1848
Ellen 1850
Pierce 1854
Mary 1856
Daniel 1859
Hannah 1860
Eliza 1862
