I have a Katherine Sweetman who was mother to Mary Ellen McCarthy O'Connor.
Katherine's husband was Charles McCarthy. They were from the Bantry area, we
believe. Their daughter Mary Ellen McCarthy was born in Ireland and married
Jeremiah O'Connor(from Bantry) in New York City in August 1905.
