Hi listers,

I have recently received an e-mail relative to my research for GILLAN
ancestors in County Cork. I reads as follows: IGSI - Bere Peninsula
Families, County Cork, Husbands, Allihies Parish, Gillan, John (lightkeeper)
Bowen, Mary Lighthouse.

I have no idea what this means or how to follow up on this information.
Would SKS out there point me in the right direction? The only information I
have to lead me to County Cork with appears in an obit stating the family
came from there. I have no parish and have very little experience
researching Irish records.
