Hi Carol,
Just read your posting about Toohill 's, I do believe you are a distant
cousin of mine I have been trying to find more information about the
Touhill's (Twohill - Toohill) do you have anymore information about them, my
great great grandmother was a Hanora (Nora) Toohill born on June 28,1838
she was from the Newtown - Parish of Shandrum in Northern County Cork, she
married a John Murphy also from the same area they had 8 children all
migrated to the US in the 1880's and 90's, and according to some information
I rec'd from the Mallow Heritage Center in Co. Cork John had a sister's name
Ellen , Mary and two brothers named John and Timothy also lists there father
as Denis who married to a Mary Burke at the Roman Catholic Parish of Shandrum
on 21st of March 1833, I am interested in any information I can find out
about the Toohill's ( Twohill -Touhill), not sure if they are the same
family? I have lots of information on the whole family except the Toohill's.
