Bateman - with a dob of 1812 and no known location within county Cork your
chances of finding any direct record are very slim. With a little research
you probably could find a few Bateman families, there are not likely to be
many but even so making a connection will be almost impossible.
Callaghan - The chances here are only a little better but you didn't say if
Protestant or Catholic, it does make a difference.
