Hi Noelene,
We may have something in common. Just a gut feeling. Names seem to repeat
themselve's in Irish families. My Leary came to New York sometime in the
1850's and settled in East Chester, New York. My ggggrandmother was from
Ireland and her name was Margaret Leary. I am told they were from Cork.
Some of her children were John, Jerimiah, David and Margaret, and there may
be others. I don't have the Leary folder out at the monemt, but I will try
to look up the facts I do have in the next few days. I know that on the
census it stated that they could not read or write. Just a clue. All of them
are buried in Tuckahoe, NY.
I just have a feeling we have a connection.
Kind Regards,
Pam Boland
