Historic document, known as a traveling minute, from Goldsboro, York
County, Pennsylvania dated Oct 17th, 1864. Document measures approx. 5
inches by 8 inches, and is unframed.
The text states: “Goldsboro York Co. Pa. Oct 17th 1864 This is to certify
that Bro Henry C Shelly is a member of the Church of God at Smoketown York
County, and further that he is in good standing. And do hereby recommend
him to the church, where ever he may wish to become a member, James
Charlton, Teaching Elder, and Henry G. Hiester elder”
