There are many things that are very similiar, however I don't see a good connection at this time. The data I have was drawn from the Earls Family Chronicles by Christopher E. Brennen. We have Samuel Dale born in Ireland in March 1815, and emigrated to Canada in 1816 with his parents. He married Mary McFarlane, and the children were John McFarlane Dale b1842, Daniel b 1844, Martha Dale b1845, and Alex and Samuel who married Margaret Beggs. Samuels's siblings were Ester, born in Canada and married Daniel S,ith, Elizabeth b c1824, marrie Smith and move to California, Martha who married McFall, Margaret b 1821 John Smith and went to California, and Rosemary.
The family was in Dalesville, and while a number of them moved to Saskatchewan and/or California, some stayed in Cumberland and area.
