Hello List,

We have a new member (#94106), a descendant of Iver Jorgensen, born 1694 in
Fjelstrup Sogn, Sønder Tyrstrup Herred, Haderslev Amt, DK. He is Haplogroup
R1b1c and as yet has no matches in the Danish Demes project:

R1b1c is the most common Y-DNA haplogroup in western Europe, yet even with just
12 makers tested, he has only 31 matches in the FTDNA database and 20 in the
Ysearch database, all in other, predominantly English, surnames. Your project
admin recommends upgrading to more markers to gain some separation from less
related individuals.
