Hi Martin,

Thanks for the tip about bringing any pictures from the home county.
That is a great idea and giving pictures to the archives means all can
enjoy / copy the pictures. I will mention it to my Aunt and my cousin.

I am hopeful that this will work for Aunt Viola.

PS: She is actually my Dad's Cousin's wife so not really a direct Aunt
but I have always considered her a wonderful person to have in my life.

Glad to hear you got a reply so quickly, and a very good one !

Please consider bringing some pictures to the archives in the areas if
you
have some of the relatives while they lived in Denmark. They'll be very
happy to receive a dublicate of a picture of say a house with people in
front, plus their story. A lot of people, when they buy an old house, go
to
the local archive and ask about the story of the house. Seeing pictures
of
how it looked say 100 years ago, knowing who lived there and what they
did
means a lot to them.

Hi Martin,

I have received a response from your suggestion to contact the
newspapers. Knud Gaarn-Larsen []has contacted me.
He said that he sent the info to friends who work on finding relatives
and has asked me for more information. He said they will go to the
archives to obtain more data and then he will print it so that Viola's
relatives hopefully can be located.

I have forwarded all the info that is available on the family to him.
It is still a long shot but may be possible. :) I will keep you
informed.
