Hi Elsie, Thank you so much for writing and sharing your family story. It made me feel like there is hope that I will someday find my family.
I too am on the Swedish and Belgium list and had no luck on either.

I hope that the list will share there holiday recipes, I am always looking for new cookies recipes and it would be fun to have them for this Christmas so I could have my little granddaughters help me make them.

My great grandparents were: There is a discrepancies that I have found in the way Larsen was spelled in the 1890-1 Business Directory & Farmers list him as being Ole Larson

Ole Larsen born Oct. 1861 or 1864 Denmark died 1904 Oakland Burt county, Nebraska

Anna Maria Peterson born Jan. 5, 1866 Denmark died 1948 Oakland Burt county, Nebraska

A researcher helped me find these old Church records
Church records show that Anna Maria arrived in American in 1889 from what looks like Hannua Denmark, records were very poor and hard to read.

1900 Census for Ole Larsen showed they were from Denmark.
1910 Census for Anna it looks like Div. 0r Din. Danish
this is all I know about them other then their children who were born in Oakland Nebraska
Thank you and take care Dawn Holland
