I have been looking for a number of years for information on my GGrandfather.
His name was Lauritz Pedar Jacobsen and he said he was from Copenhagen. He
was to have been born to Pedar (Peter, Peder) Jacobsen and Juliet Von Kempner
(I'm not sue of the spelling) He came to the USA in 1905 and was 21. I have
looked on the DDD and have yet to find any of my family. My GGrand father had
sisters Valborg, Ella and a brother William. I know that they stayed in
Denmark. The last letter was from 1960 - from Viborg.
Any Ideas of other places to look would be very helpful.
