Friis or Frijs is a danish noble family,
or some part of it.
That's were these names comes from.
But maybe it comes from the Frisian Islands near Jutland?

Most of these surnames look more like place names. Perhaps where they
were born.

Legarth = Legaard farms in Bedsted, Strøby, S-Bork, Sønderhå

Floystrup = Fløjstrup a farm in Beder, villages in Hørning, Vindelev,
Malling

Hauge = Hauge villages in Tistrup, Vinderslev, Gellerup.

Friis = only have places with this as the first part of the name like:
Friiseseje, Friistoft, Frijsbak, Frijsenborg, Frijsendal, Frijsenlund

Aurelia
