Looking for information on William Davis who signed the bond for marriage of
his daughter Sarah (Sally) Davis to Harrison Humphries in 1816 in Fleming
Co., KY. There are two William Davises in the Revolutionary War pension
register for Fleming County: one who served in the VA Militia, and the other
who served as a VA Dragoon. Is anyone familiar with either William? Is my
William one of the two, or was the county overrun with William Davises?

Any help greatly appreciated.
