Recently I went through Carthage MO in Jasper Co. and tried to find more
information on the family of my great grandmother Maggie Edith Davis who was
born Dec. 7, 1880, in West Plains, MO. She moved along with her parents and
seven siblings to Carthage shortly thereafter. She was married to my great
grandfather Clark Conley McKnight on the courthouse steps in Carthage. I knew
her father's name was Phillip Reece Davis and I had heard her mother's name
was Lucy. When we were in Carthage we stopped by the library and I found
Phillip R. Davis and wife Margaret C. Davis in the cemetary listings. Is any
body familiar with this family?
