I am looking for information on Henry Davis born in Tennessee (perhaps
Davidson County or Robertson Co.) around 1770. Henry married Susan,
probably in Tennessee, and they moved to Sangamon County, Illinois before
1820. He died in Sangamon County in 1839.

I believe Henry and Susan had the following children:
Polly md. Redding PATE
John
Eliza md. William Riley PATE
Henry, Jr. md. Gansey MCCORMAS
Israel md. Mary Jane KESSLER
Jane md. Barney GARRETT and William Riley Pate
All of these marriages took place in Sangamon County, Illinois.

I believe Henry's parents could have been Dial and Nancy Davis. Brothers
may have been John and Dial.

Sure would appreciate any information on this family.
