I'm trying to find the correct surname maiden name for Henrietta,
stepdaughter of a Reverend DAVIS of Shawneetown, IL. According to the Death certificate
Mrs. Henrietta J. (______) (PETERS) O'NEIL was b. in Ohio 14 Dec. 1845 (our
other records had her birth year as 1849 but everyone lied about their age and
we thought her husband was 2 years younger, now it looks like he was 6 years
younger!) She died in St. Louis 24 March 1922. She married Frank R. O'NEIL in
1872 in Shawneetown, IL. In his obit it said that she was of Shawneetown,IL,
but in the census it said that she was b. in OHIO and her mother in PA and
Father in YORK, so she would have married Mr. PETERS before 1872 in either IL or
OH.

Any help would be much appreciated,
