I have no idea if this is your Henry, but ---

There is a Headright in NC-Bertie - 11Aug 1742 for Henry Day and his family
that included a son, Henry Day (under 21 yrs of age) in 1742. Young Henry
Day appears in the SC-Edgefield 1790 Census as a Head of Household (age over
16) with 3 women and 2 men under 15 in the household.. I can't prove this
is the same Henry, but there are not very many Henry's in the Day families
in the Carolinas at that time. Happy hunting.
