Rod, there are several translations of Old Swedes earliest records. Family
Line Publ has a new book out on them. Newer in this case is better.
One of my Old Swedes early families is that of Johan Gustafsson whose
descendants became Justis,Justus, Justice. Susannah Pennington married one of
the Justice men, I believe it would be a son of Hance. See Cecil Co, MD Accts
Bk 8 or 18 page 512 for her father, John's accounts. 11.13.1741.
I have some other Pennington names in my cross index file.
The Findlay Bible of New Castle Co has Edna Kine/or Line Penington who married
James M Findlay 27 Apr 1844.
Elizabeth Pennington m John Reynolds 6 Aug 1775 according to MD Marriages by
Barnes.
John Pennington's accounts also mention Elizabeth and Abraham. His
administrators were John Blake and wife Elizabeth.
A John Pennington stood surety for Rosannah Simpers, widow of Richard (Simpers
is my line). See Cecil Co Orphans Ct Proceedings 11 Feb 1800.
Joseph F Pennington m Eliza J Findlay on 22 Jul 1845 according to Findlay
Bible. Noble Pennington, farmer, age 47, m Henrietta, age 41, child Andrew
age 14, all in 1850 Cecil Co Census p. 100. They were with some of my
Fergusons.
Samuel Pennington, b 21 Sep 1733 in Cecil Co, Md s/o John and Sarah (Biddle).
