Dear Carole --

Please contact me about this search and book. It sounds like something we
might run in "Missing Links," [e-zine] which in turn might help you find
these descendants.

Allbest,

>I have a cousin in Philadelphia who is writing a book on our mutual
ancestor, Philip Syng, Jr, the Silversmith who worked with Ben Franklin on
many experiments and who made the inkstand with which the Declaration and
Constitution were signed (it is on display in Independence Hall.)

Unlike his friend Dr. Franklin, Philip was a man of few words and we have
been searching for a journal or letter or SOMETHING he might have written.
We
have figured that anything like that would have been treasured and handed
down in the family and that the probable line that could have had the
writings was ABIGAIL SYNG the eldest daughter who married EDMUND PHYSICK. We
believe they had to go to the family of HENRY WHITE PHYSICK who died in
Wilmington, DE but who also had a home in Cecil Co, MD. MAYBE we can find
out
how to trace THAT down if it is still in existence.

Thanks for posting,

Carole
