My name is Kathleen Burnett and I am your new List Mom. I want to take a moment to let you know who I am and a little about me.

I am a mother of four, grandmother of nine. I work outside of the home during the day. I am a list Mom to several other Mailing Lists and am very actively involved in my own family research.

I am a hands on List Mom, meaning I keep track of what is going on with the mailing list. If you are ever in need of me during the day, while I am at work, you can reach me at or I can be reached in the evenings and on Sundays at

As to how I am connected to the Old Swedes of Delaware, I am a direct descendant of the Charles Springer and Maria Henderickson.

My goal for your list is to keep it a safe place for you to research your DE Old Swedes ancestors. Safe meaning a place where you are not subject to postings other than those related to this topic.
