Descendants of Claude E. Dean
Generation No. 1
1. CLAUDE E.5 DEAN (SAMUEL (MACK) MACDONALD4, CHARLES SUMPTER (SUMP)3,
JAMES MINTON2, JOHN1) was born December 1886 in Blackrock Community, Crenshaw
County, Alabama, and died December 1933 in Dozier, Crenshaw County, Alabama.
He married ANNIE LOU DUNCAN Abt. 1912 in Crenshaw County, Alabama, daughter
of JULIUS DUNCAN and ELLEN UNKNOWN. She was born 1892 in Crenshaw County,
Alabama, and died 1946 in Dozier, Crenshaw County, Alabama.
Notes for CLAUDE E. DEAN:
Claude Dean and Annie Lou Duncan are buried at the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery
in Covington County, Alabama east of Dozier just past the Creshaw County
line.
Though there has been no confirmation as of this time, it is my belief
that Annie's Father, Julius Duncan, is the son of Julius Bennett Duncan who
married Sarah Dean. Sarah was the sister of Charles Sumpter Dean from the
Blackrock Community in Crenshaw County, Alabama and Aunt of Samuel Dean,
Charle's son, who married Anna Barrington. They were the parents of Claude
Dean.
