Vincent Wayne Kidd

Age 75, died Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in
Russell, KY.

Mr. Kidd was born January 25, 1930 in Beattyville, Lee County, KY to the late
William and Elvina Stamper Kidd. He graduated from Eastern KY University
with a Masters in Counseling. At the time of his retirement in 1996, he was a
counselor at Ashland State Vocational Technical College. He was a veteran of
the US Army 101st Airborne Division during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Kidd was a
member of the Russell Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by one son, Lt. Col. Daniel Wayne Kidd, USMC; two
brothers, Lloyd Kidd and Armin Kidd; three; sisters, Marie Champ, Carolyn Noble
and Lucille Hayes.

Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Donna Snowden Kidd; three daughters, Dr.
Lisa Kidd, Gahanna, OH, Ann Marie Satterfield of Dayton, OH, Melaine Kidd
Bush; of Raceland, KY; one son, Charlie Kidd.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at 10 am in the
Russell Christian Church with Pastor Mark McKinney officiating. Burial was in the
Snowden Cemetery, Beattyville, KY with Pastor Garett Thomas officiating.

The following is a Stamper/Deaton obituary. Great-Grandaughter of Alfred and
Awilda King Deaton Stamper.

Evelyn Stamper Brown, 63, widow of Jerry Brown, of Beattyville, KY, passed
away Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at her residence.

She was born November 9, 1942 in Warren, PA, the daughter of Theria and
Geneva (Davis) Stamper. She was a member of the New Springs United Methodist

Survivors are one daughter, Cheryl Wiley (Rich) of Missouri; son, Jerry
Brown, Jr. (Billy Joe) of Florida; grandchildren, Tommy Wjitlock of IL, Matthew
Brown, Brett Brown and Jessica Brown all of FL; brothers, Billy E. Stamper
(Marilyn) of Primrose, KY, Theria Stamper Jr. (Patricia), David Stamper (Bea), John
C. Stamper, all of Beattyville, KY; sisters, Margo Cope (Don), of Lexington,
KY, Pauline Ashcraft (Bud), Betty Noe (Roger), Brenda Childers (Bug) all of
Beattyville, KY.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 9, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the Newnam
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Short officiating. Burial was in the Davis
Cemetery at Primrose, KY.

Pallbearers were Bradley Stamper, Brian Childers, Mike Martinez, Brandon
Stamper, Joey Stamper, and Tommy Stamper. Honorary pallbearer was Chase Baker.
