Another way to annotate same plots under different names is to add a
'Remarks" field to your deed template. I do that to cross reference
deeds and to make notes concerning adjoining properties, research leads
etc. For example, I have one property that I think adjoins that of
another person with the same surname, but for whom I have no other clue
to relationship. Noting that the two legs of the properties are the
same direction, distance and have identical corners lets you and others
know why you think they are adjoining (In my case, neither is listed as
an adjoining landowner).

If you give it some thought you can insert topical words and then use the
"find" function on the edit menu. Never tried it with a custom filter,
but don't see why that wouldn't work too.
