Subject: Autostitch, a Demo for evaluation purposes

I found this program called Autostitch on another list and used it to
put together a panorama of two maps made in Deed Mapper. Let me hastily
add that I know nothing about how to utilize fully the benefits of the
program. However, I turned out a passable stitched version of two jpegs
generated by Deed Mapper. The program is a Demo "being made available
for evaluation purposes":

As to the images, the program only works with jpegs right now, and there
are apparently only two major requirements in taking the photos - they
must overlap and they must be taken from a single point of view. It's
simple to use: run the program autostitch.exe. Select File >Open and
select a set of jpeg images to be stitched. The program will align the
images, and output the file "pano.jpg" in the input directory and opens
the output panorama using the default image viewer (in my case
Irfanview.) The program has been tested under Windows XP/2000/98. For
more information see the Read Me file.
