Thanks so much for the suggestion. The Adirondack Museum was one of the
first places I checked, but with no success. I knew the NY Archives had
the field notes for the T & C Purchase, but copying the entire body of
work was not an option for me. It's unusual to find that descriptions of
land now being used in deeds contain references to lot lines which seem
to have no readily available graphical representation in evidence in the
universe.
I suspect that the Adirondack Park authority may have something - will
go there next. And then perhaps the Nature Conservancy may have
something. Hope springs eternal.
