I'm new to this list and am seriously contemplating buying
DeedMapper. Actually, it's really more than serious since I have
decided to do it. But I wondered, especially in light of the bit of
conversation I've heard so far, how much it is needed to buy the map
layers. Buying the program is one thing, but then buying mulitiple
layers for different features and different locations seems cost
prohibitive. Are some of you using the USGS maps available online?
When you buy the layers how do you decide what dimensions of a map
area you can get in a layer?

Thanks for any help.

Patti
