I'd be interested in the ability to draw a deed by clicking the corners and
have it produce the metes and bounds. I think the original comment was to
draw only a part of a deed this way, not a whole one. Not sure how this would
operate, other than to select an unfinished deed and go into "draw" mode to
continue more lines.
Pan would be nice, but not if it gets in the way of selecting. Maybe should
be able to choose a "pan" mode. What I would really like is a better way to
select a deed. With the data base I have, there are points that are within
many overlapping deeds and resurveys, sometimes it is impossible to select
the one I want. In every case, I can see at least one line of the deed I
want. It would be very helpful to be able to click on the desired line.
Along with select, it would be very helpful if the deed would be "attached"
to the cursor at the same point it was selected. I have very large deeds
and I sometimes want to align on side, but the cursor is at the other end.
Sometimes, the cursor is actually outside of the deed, especially after
rotating it.
While we're on selecting, I would like the selected deed to stand out
better among the clutter of all the others, like go to the next level of boldness
or display with running lines (ants?) around the edge.
Thanks to Steve for his interest and this wonderful program. I'm well over
10,000 deeds plotted.
