Hi Susan,
I am the daughter of Audrey Degrange (her actual birthdate is 1/13/1919). I remember her telling me that Ella Elizabeth Kogelschatz (her mother) was raised by Anna Catherine Kogelschatz and that her (Ella Elizabeth's) mother died at or shortly after her birth. I also remember my mother telling me that Ella Elizabeth's mother's name was also Ella Elizabeth. Whew! I think I've confused myself! At any rate, I'm fairly new at all this and dabble in family history when I ever get the time...which is not often. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
