My reader behaves oddly. Sometimes I have to click in the window before it
will display. Also, the word 'Done' appears in the lower status line after
the software has loaded and the window has been created, but before the
content has loaded. In fact, since I require confirmation to use active X,
it appears before that warning window appears.

This is not always the case, but try at least clicking in the open Acrobat
window.
