David Clayton and Jonathan Purnell, my ggggrandfather and gggrandfather. Both from Smyrna, Delaware. I am looking for any information on either of them. David was a tailor in Smyrna and died December, 1834. Jonathan was a farmer and he married Sarah Ann Clayton, daughter of David Clayton. They moved on to Illinois about 1856. I especially want to know who Jonathan's parents were. He was born about 1817. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
