Your kind offer is welcome and accepted. I believe that a David Staats is
living next to my Jesse Staats in Maryland in 1800 - He [David] is supposed
to have married a "Letesha". Jesse Staats and David Staats could have
married sisters, but I don't know how Jesse and David are connected by
blood, which I am pretty sure they are. Who did Letesha Codereck marry?

The Plillip Staats is probably a son of John Staats, the Rev. War veteran
mentioned in the follow-up message from "Delwarrens" <>.
Yes, at this stage I'd best be gathering all the primary data I can get on
everyone in both families. Thank you for your offer of help.

Oh, by the way, I was talking with Mr. Wright at Family Line Publications a
few weeks age, and he said that they would be doing all the deeds of NC
County, just like they are doing for Kent Co. and Sussex Co. I think these
books will provided huge pieces of the puzzle for all of us.
