I have ordered the Index of Wills for Kent, New Castle, and Sussex
counties. Each index covers 1729-1820.

I want to return the kindness of so many others like me. I am willing
to lookup one or two wills for you if you will please stick to the
single-line formal shown below and provide no elaboration. What I will
do is cut and paste your line(s), along with others who have made a
similar request, into a single document which I can sort so it agrees
with the index. I will read your entry for the first time in the dim
lighting of the microfilm room of my nearby FHC, so have some pity on
me!

Your message to me should contain only the following line for each
lookup:

county, last name of deceased, first name, year of death, township

Any information you do not know, leave a blank space

Remember, this is just a lookup in an index. What it will tell you is
(1) if there is a will and (2) where to find it in the Will Books of
that county. You will still need to either (1) order and view the will
on the microfilm of that Will Book at your local Family History Center,
or (2) request a copy of the will from the Records department of the
county.

The microfilm will arrive here in about three weeks. I have a month to
work with it before it is returned to Utah. When I have completed the
lookup, I will post a list from the index in this list.
