Does anyone know anything about the family of a John Herdman who
according to the l800 and l810 US census lived in White Clay Creek
Hundred, Delaware, between Newark and the Pennsylvania border, at that
time.

l800 l--l- --2-- John Herdman White Clay Creek
also:
1800 Herdman, Widow l-4-- 1--11 Mill Creek Hundred
1800 Herdman William (?) --ll- lll-- Mill Creek Hundred

1810 5--2-- 1-1-11 John Herdman White Clay Creek

Note that John Herdman had atleast seven children, including five boys,
and one extra older woman who lived with them.

It was possible there were Herdmans in 1820 census too and I didn't see
them since I was only looking for Kennedy's.

YOurs,
Dora Smith
