I can" t seem to get everthing together this week, I found some
information
for you from the library. I'm not related to the Herdman family, I have
this
book so looked the name up for you. Here is what I found yesterday:

John Herdman was born Sept. 29, 1739
Eleanor Hamilton was born Oct. 15 1743 his wife
John Herdman was born Dec 2,1769
Mary Garretson, his wife was born Dec 23,1780
Jefferson Herdman born Dec 3,1800
John Herdman was born March 10,1803
Garretson Herdman born Oct,10,1807
Beckley & William Herdman, twin brotherswere born Jan 23, 1810
Beckley a few minutes the oldest
James Lawrence Herdman was born on Tuesday Oct 29th 1816
about half after five o' clock in the morning
George Cox was born Feb.1, 1822

Deaths:
John Herdman departed this life Jan, 26 1791, it being the 52 year
of his age.
Eleanor Herdman departed this life May 5,1829 being 85 years, 7
months of age at her decease.
Garretson Herdman departed this life March 7, 1818
James Lawerence Herdman departed this life Aug, 14 1818 in the evening
about
11 o"clock.
John Herdman departed this life Jan 24, 1832 being 62 years and seven
weeks
old on the day of his death.
